TRAIL

Via dell’Amore.
This is the flat, easy path to Manarola. As our guest, you will have unlimited access from 7am to 1am for your entire stay.

What you need:

• Via dell’Amore entrance voucher (link).
• Cinque Terre card (link).

Trailhead:

• From the train station square in Riomaggiore, go up the stairs , past “Bar and Vini” (A Pie de Ma) and you will see the entrance gate.

Riomaggiore to Manarola:

Via Beccara (Alternate path to the via dell’Amore)

Need to know:

• This is a free trail.
• There are high, uneven steps, so please have correct footwear.
• There is no shade, so go early. Wear sunscreen, hat and bring water.

Trailhead:

From the train station square in Riomaggiore, go up the hill next to Bar Stazione (via Telemaco Signorini).
Follow the road until you see a steep uphill on your left with the sign, “Manarola”.
Go up the hill, and keep walking and you’ll see the trailhead on your left.
Go down the stairs, cross the bridge and start your uphill climb through the vineyards.

Be sure to wear footwear with grip, as you can slip.

The Upper House guests: From your main black gate, take the elevator down and turn right. When the road divides, take the straight road (via Telemaco Signorini) on the left. Keep following the road, go past the elevator on your left and you’ll eventually see the steep uphill on your right (Look for “Manarola” signage and red and white stripes).
Go up the hill, keep walking and you’ll see the trailhead on your left.
Go down the stairs, cross the bridge and start your uphill climb through the vineyards.
